What CVIS does not do.

police bear_edited.jpg

Clear Voice Interview Services (CVIS) is not a reporting agency for child abuse, neglect, or criminal matters.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger or at risk of harm, please contact your local police service or call the Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-387-KIDS (5437).

Our role at CVIS is to conduct neutral, non-investigative Voice of the Child interviews for use in family law, mediation, and arbitration processes. We do not receive or investigate allegations of abuse, and we do not replace the role of law enforcement, child protection authorities, or other mandated reporting agencies.

If during the course of an interview a child discloses information suggesting potential harm or abuse, we follow established legal and ethical obligations by notifying the appropriate authorities immediately.

Clear Voice Interview Services is committed to the safety and well-being of all children. We encourage anyone with concerns about a child’s safety to reach out directly to the appropriate authorities for immediate assistance.

Important Note

Clear Voice Interview Services is not a counselling or therapy resource. Our role is to provide neutral, professional Voice of the Child interviews that accurately reflect each child’s perspective for use in legal and parenting matters. While our interviewers are trained in trauma-informed practice and take great care to ensure each child feels safe and supported, our work does not involve counselling, treatment, or therapeutic intervention.

If counselling or emotional support is needed, families are encouraged to seek services from qualified mental health professionals.
