Custom & Contracted Training

CVIS collaborates with organizations and professional groups to design child interview training that aligns with participants’ specific practice areas, mandates, and operational realities. While some training models are fixed, our facilitators are able to build and adapt custom models to fit the professional and cultural context in which participants work.

This allows training to reflect:

  • The role and responsibilities of participants

  • The communities participants will serve

  • The legal, ethical, and procedural frameworks governing their work

  • The level of child engagement required within their practice area

Content, duration, and delivery format can be tailored while remaining grounded in evidence-based principles and best practice standards.

At Clear Voice Interview Services (CVIS), we provide specialized training in both Child Forensic Interviewing (CFI) and Voice of the Child (VOC) practice models across a range of professional disciplines.

Our CFI training is designed for Law Enforcement and Child Protection professionals, with a focus on evidence-informed, developmentally appropriate, and procedurally sound approaches to interviewing children within investigative contexts.

We also provide VOC-focused training for family law professionals, including mediators, judges, arbitrators, child representatives, and family law lawyers, centered on child-inclusive practice, role clarity, neutrality, and the safe integration of children’s perspectives into legal and dispute resolution processes.

All training can be customized to reflect the specific mandates, legal frameworks, operational realities, and communities served by participating organizations while remaining grounded in best practice standards and real-world professional application.
